Work on Programming

August 2, 2009 Leave a comment

Work on my Programming Projects has gone well so far. I am working on 2 MMORPG’s one set in a space theme and the other set in a Fantasy theme. as my Dev machine is still away with a hardware problem i am not doing a lot of work but i can say that the space themed one is still a flat land but it has headers for lua and a networking libary. It does compile and it is playable with collisions. I also have a setup script that works well. it saves to the desktop so can be used on nearly any sort of account.

My Programming Projects

August 1, 2009 Leave a comment

I currently and working on about 3 private programming projects all of which are not very active and 2 Public projects which I will talk about a lot over the course of this blog’s life. The 2 Public ones are a+ MMOs i am designing with a couple of friends; the job to work on and maintain both of them is very big and complex. Both are going to use a custom built engine though as of yet i am still using irrlicht, it is not half bad and is MIT licence but so far i have gotten a big piece of bumpy land with collision detection and a nice detail map. not a lot considering i want to turn this thing in to a money making machine. my 3 Private projects are called as such as they are never going to be realised. the first one is to simulate science projects, i am not going to release it because it is just course work. my second one is a simple company manager program written in VB 2008, nothing too complex. the last one i am going to release if it gets demand and is a simple pallet program.

Wii Sports Resort

August 1, 2009 Leave a comment

Been playing quite a bit of Wii Sports Resort lately and almost got all of the (i) points in the island flyover. I have something like 76 or so points and have found a map to get the others. Work on programming is paused at the moment because my Dev machine is away for repairs thanks to a hardware fault.
